Why We Created the FlexiScoop.
40+ years of scooping over 2 tons of litter for 7 wonderful inside cats with available scoops inspired us to analyze them and design a new scoop that actually removes the most poo and bits for a cleaner box and litter. The store-bought scoop couldn’t remove the urine pools at the sides or bottom of the litter box when it falls below optimum level, so we dreamed of a better way. The FlexiScoop Litter Box Scoop came from our struggles, and now we can share it with you!

That’s why a portion of the proceeds from each sale of The FlexiScoop Litter Box Scoop goes directly to organizations whose efforts actively reduce the feral cat population – through low-cost/no-cost spay/neuter programs, investment in mobile spay/neuter vet clinic vehicles, or providing tools to those cat lovers who participate in Trap/Neuter/Return practices in their own neighborhoods. About Joan
Clean Freak. Cat Lover. Product Designer.
When Joan met her first cat as a child, she realized she could love and be loved unconditionally, and her loneliness faded. Cats were to become the best part of her life.
Luckily, Joan has a vivid imagination and a design degree, so after retirement from a long career in office furniture, she set her mind to creating the best litter box scoop ever, and The FlexiScoop Litter Box Scoop was born. Joan established Product Design House LLC and has found her destiny in providing tools that she and her fellow inside cat lovers can use every day. And bonus - with some proceeds from your purchases of her products, Joan can contribute even more to efforts that reduce the feral cat overpopulation.
She currently resides peacefully with her rescue cat, Lulu in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
